Dinner on the Farm 2026

05.21 • 06.18 • 07.18 • 08.20 • 09.12 • 10.24

Each summer we host a series of outdoor dinners here at Wildom Farm.

Guests gather at a long communal table set out in the pasture for a multi-course meal built almost entirely from ingredients grown and raised in our region. All of the meat, fat, and stock used throughout the dinner comes from animals raised here on the farm. The vegetables, fruit, cheese, grains, honey, and more are sourced from other local and regenerative farms.

The menus are created around what is available and abundant at that exact moment in the season, which means they often aren’t finalized until just a few days before the dinner.

These dinners are slow, communal, and meant to feel connected to the place they’re happening. Expect multiple courses, stories throughout the evening, and a meal that reflects both the season and the way we raise food here.

  • Seating is communal. Expect to dine alongside fellow guests in an intimate and welcoming setting.
  • Dress accordingly. The dinner takes place outdoors in the pasture, so plan for weather and terrain.
  • Dietary restrictions. We can accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free requests, but we are unable to accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets.

MAY KICKOFF DINNER

Thursday, 05.21 • $85

The first dinner of the season is intentionally a little different.

This night is more relaxed, a little more casual, and designed as a way to gather before summer fully kicks off. Think big shared platters, family-style courses, and a slightly shorter evening.

Three courses with a lower ticket price. Same ingredients and same approach to cooking and sourcing.

A good option for locals, first-timers, or anyone who wants to experience the dinners in a simpler format.

SUMMER DINNERS

Thursday 06.18 • Saturday 07.18 • Thursday 08.20 • Saturday 09.12

$145

These are our full five-course dinners and the heart of the season.

The evenings unfold slowly over several hours with courses built around peak-season ingredients from the farm and from producers around our region. Throughout the meal, we talk about the animals, the ingredients, whole animal cooking, and the realities of raising food this way.

No two dinners are exactly alike because the season is always changing.

OCTOBER SPOOKY DINNER

Saturday 10.24 • $175

Our final dinner of the season tends to get a little strange in the best way.

More courses. More fire. Slightly more dramatic food. Costumes encouraged if that’s your thing.

Every year this dinner takes on a personality of its own, but expect an evening that leans richer, smokier, and more over-the-top than the rest of the season.

Join us for an unforgettable evening of food, farming, and connection under the open sky.

FAQs – Dinner on the Farm

Where is the dinner held?

The dinner takes place outdoors on our pasture at Wildom Farm (6675 Sang Run Rd, McHenry, MD 21541). Guests will be seated at a communal table with views of the animals and surrounding landscape.

What is included in the ticket price?

Your ticket includes a five-course farm-to-table meal, featuring meats and fats raised on our farm and ingredients sourced from other local and regenerative farms. Non-alcoholic beverages and mixers will be provided.

Is the menu announced in advance?

No. The menu is created based on what’s most fresh and abundant at the time of the event, so it is finalized just days before the dinner. However, you can expect a seasonally driven meal featuring our farm-raised meats.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate gluten-free and dairy-free dietary needs with advance notice. However, due to the nature of our meals, we cannot accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets. If you have severe allergies, please reach out before booking.

What should I wear?

The dinner is fully outdoors on a working farm. We recommend dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking on grass and uneven terrain.

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the dinner goes on! We dine under a covered tent, and we’ve weathered everything from summer storms to freezing temps—surrounded by round bales, guests bundled in beanies, wool sweaters, and muck boots. This is Garrett County—if we didn’t have fun when the weather isn’t fun, we wouldn’t have fun at all. Dress for the elements, and we’ll handle the rest.

Is there parking?

Yes! Parking will be by the farm store, and we will have signs directing you where to go.

Can I bring my kids or pets?

This experience isn’t designed with children in mind, but you know your kids better than we do! If they can enjoy a long, communal-style dinner with a set menu, they’re welcome to join. We just ask that all guests, regardless of age, respect the flow of the evening (and the menu!). Pets, however, should stay home.

How long does the dinner last?

The experience lasts approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. Guests are welcome to stay afterward and enjoy the bonfire.

What is your cancellation policy?

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another guest if you can no longer attend.
