The Role: This is not a single-lane job. You will move between livestock care, land work, farmers markets, customer interaction, and events. Some days are quiet and physical. Some are fast and public. Most are both. You will be asked to think, adapt, and stay present.
What You’ll Do:
Daily care of pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, and turkeys
Assist in rotating animals to new paddocks and building/taking down fence
Support farmers markets including setup, breakdown, and direct sales
Interact with customers and represent the farm in public-facing settings
Support farm events including dinners, tours, workshops, and seasonal harvest
Assist with seasonal garden work as needed
General land work including mowing, weed whacking, and clearing
Who You Are:
You are physically strong and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
You are dependable and show up ready to work
You can shift between working independently and as part of a team
You are comfortable interacting with customers and representing the farm
You stay calm and think clearly when things don’t go to plan
You are not intimidated by learning new skills like pulling a trailer, handling equipment, or working with large animals

Requirements:
Strong work ethic and attention to detail

PITTSBURGH MARKET LEAD - PITTSBURGH, PA

About Wildom: Wildom is a regenerative livestock farm in Western Maryland raising pigs, cattle, sheep, and chickens on pasture and in forest systems. We sell directly to our community through farmers markets, our online store, and on-farm. Our work is rooted in animal welfare, ecology, and producing food with integrity.
The Role: This is not a typical market position. You are the face of Wildom in Pittsburgh. You will run the market independently, manage product, and represent the farm as if it’s your own. This role combines sales, logistics, and ownership. It requires someone who is organized, self-directed, and comfortable working without oversight.
Schedule: Tuesdays, 1pm–8pm | Market hours: 3pm–7pm
Season runs May through November
What You’ll Do:
Transport all market equipment and product to and from the farmers market
Full setup and breakdown of market booth including tent, tables, signage, and coolers
Sell Wildom products and engage directly with customers
Educate customers on how animals are raised and how to cook different cuts
Track and manage inventory throughout the market
Store product safely between markets and maintain proper temperatures
Coordinate weekly restocks by meeting in Morgantown, WV
Handle POS system, payments, and cash

DINNER EXPERIENCE LEAD - MCHENRY, MD

About Wildom:
Wildom is a regenerative livestock farm raising pigs, cattle, sheep, and chickens on pasture and in forest systems.
We host a series of outdoor farm dinners throughout the season. These are multi-course, hands-on meals rooted in whole animals, seasonality, and a strong sense of place. Each dinner is designed intentionally, but the environment is dynamic. The standard is high, even as things shift in real time.
The Role: You are responsible for everything the guest sees, touches, and feels. You lead the front of house and hold the entire guest experience in place. You ensure the space is set correctly, the details are precise, and the flow of the evening feels natural and uninterrupted. You are also responsible for protecting the experience. This means handling questions, directing the team, and making decisions in real time so Julie can stay focused on the food, pacing, and hosting. If a guest can see it, use it, or experience it, you are responsible for making sure it is right. You are not waiting for direction. You are anticipating what needs to happen and making it happen.
Commitment: There are 6 dinners throughout the season. Each dinner involves approximately 25 hours of work across:
the day before for full setup and pre-set
the day of for execution and service
the day after for breakdown and reset
You are expected to be present for all dinners. This role requires consistency across the season.
What You’ll Do:

prepare and maintain the space so it feels intentional, complete, and ready for guests at all times

all service pieces are clean, present, and ready
nothing is missing, out of place, or overlooked
Lead the front of house team

WILDOM MARKET AND EVENT CREW - MCHENRY, MD

About Wildom:

We sell directly to our community through farmers markets, our online store, and on-farm. We also host events including farm dinners, wurst nights, and markets that bring people onto the land and into the work.
The Role: This is a hands-on, flexible role that moves between markets and events. You will shift between customer interaction and food execution throughout the day. At times you’ll be talking with customers, selling product, and running point of sale. At other times you’ll be on the grill, prepping food, or supporting the flow of service.
You are expected to move between these roles comfortably and step in wherever needed.
What You’ll Do:
Set up and break down market and event spaces including tents, tables, coolers, and equipment
Sell Wildom products and interact directly with customers
Run point of sale and handle transactions
Work the grill and assist with food prep during events such as wurst nights
Support food service and maintain flow during busy periods
Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked
Step into different roles throughout the day as needed
Who You Are:
You are comfortable interacting with customers and switching into a sales role
You are also comfortable working with food, including grilling and basic prep
