This is a one of a kind hide from our Navajo Churro sheep flock. All hides are unique in both color and texture of wool, as well as size. Each hide tells the story of the animal. We raise our churros using regenerative practices like rotational grazing on holistically managed pastures, and forest. Due to the animals natural lifestyle, hides may contain some vegetation
We believe it is our ethical responsibility to use all the parts of the animals we harvest for meat. Many hides in the meat industry end up in landfills, ours do not
All hides are tanned naturally using bark by Driftless Tannery
