We are actively accepting applications for both full-time, part-time, and live/work farmers!

Location: McHenry, MD

About Us: We are a regenerative farm focused on animal welfare, ecology, and human health! We raise multi-species livestock on a 154 acres pasture and forest based system. Our animals include pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, and turkeys. Wildom products are sold direct to consumer via farmers markets, our online store, and on-farm. We host both on and off farm events including tours, yoga, dinners, butchery workshops, and camping.

Job Description & Responsibilities: This position will directly support our livestock production, land management, farmers markets, customer sales and interactions, and agri-tourism events. Farmers are jack of all trades and must be passionate about animal welfare, as this is our #1 priority. Some responsibilities include..

-Daily care of chickens, pigs, cattle, sheep, turkeys
-Assist in rotating animals to new paddocks, building and taking down fence
-Interact with customers and farm guests
-Sales of regenerative meat and eggs
-Basic land maintainence, weed whacking, mowing, clearing
 

Requirements: The candidates we are seeking will demonstrate grit, strength, creativity, and enthusiasm for an entrepreneurial & fast paced environment.

-Love working with animals
-Enthusiasm for regenerative agriculture and sustainable food systems
-Extreme attention to detail and keen observational skills
-Strong work ethic and dependible
-Able to lift 50lbs and move heavy objects
-Able to work on your feet 8-10 hours a day
-Willing to work in all weather conditions (bring your raincoat!!!)
-Ability to adjust to tasks at an ad hoc basis
-Ability to keep your cool and think quickly during stressful situations
-Up for challenges 
 
Nice to haves:
-Previous farm experience
-General carpentry skills
-Ability to operate equipment like tractors, chainsaws
-Photography skills for marketing/social media
-Previous sales or hospitality experience

FARMERS MARKET SALES ASSOCIATE - MCHENRY, MD

We are actively accepting applications for farmers market sales associates for the Deep Creek Farmers Market!

Location: McHenry, MD

Job Description & Responsibilities: This position will directly support sales of Wildom product and education of regenerative agriculture to existing and potentional customers at the Deep Creek Farmers Market. The role will include preparation of food, and food service at our market stand. The market sales associate will also assist in the set-up and tear-down of our market display. The market is on Fridays from Memorial day through Labor day and sales associates can be expected to work from 1pm-8pm.

Requirements:
-Passionate about regenerative agriculture and sustainable food systems
-Customer service oriented, skilled at starting conversations and engaging people
-Sales driven and able to educate consumers on wildom products and regenerative agriculture
-Must be available to work Fridays from 1-8pm during the course of the market season
-Ability to work outside at a rain or shine market
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Dependable, reliable, punctual
-Comfortable with POS systems, credit card readers, handling money
-Experience in food service, sales, or hospitality

FARMERS MARKET SALES ASSOCIATE - PITTSBURGH, PA

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Description & Responsibilities: This position will directly support sales of Wildom product and education of regenerative agriculture to existing and potentional customers at the Lawrenceville Farmers Market. The market sales associate will also assist in the set-up and tear-down of our market display. The market is on Tuesdays from May 17 through November 22 and sales associates can be expected to work from 2pm-7:30pm.

-Customer service oriented, skilled at starting conversations and engaging people
-Sales driven and able to educate consumers on wildom products and regenerative agriculture
-Must be available to work Tuesdays from 1-8pm during the course of the market season
